Recently I read this article at McKinsey: Where innovation creates value

makes sense… let the others do the manufacturing, technological and basic research and the Us will do the marketing and benefit for other peoples’ work. Might have worked in the past, though the outcome is not so encouraging, in an economy made for the US market. However, is this still the case? And even more important, will it still be in the future?

It is pretty bold and arrogant to believe that at a time where production, research and to a large extent consumption is not in the US, the US will still be the inseparable middle man…
